Small Actions Lead To Big Changes
Writing Skills
Classes consist of Khmer and English, and general education in science, maths, geography, information technology, physical education and art.
Life Skills
We believe strongly in empowering parents to provide for their families and in delivering education programmes that increase opportunities for children, opening doors to a better future.
Physiotherapy
Our students’ education is enhanced by specialist volunteers who are experienced in physiotherapy, occupational therapy and, or speech therapy.

What to Expect as a Volunteer
Volunteering at Grace House is a rewarding, hands-on experience where you’ll work closely with our Cambodian staff to support children, families, and the wider community. We aim to create an environment where volunteers feel valued, supported, and part of our team from the moment they arrive.
🕒 Your Schedule
Volunteers are expected to work Monday to Friday, from 8:30am to 4:00pm. This allows you to fully participate in daily activities, support classroom routines, and build meaningful relationships with students and staff.
🌱 Your Role
Your tasks will depend on your skills, interests, and the needs of our programmes. Volunteers typically support:
- English classes
- Classroom activities
- Creative projects
- Office management
A teaching background is not required — enthusiasm, patience, and a willingness to learn are what matter most.
💛 Working with Disability Students
Volunteers who wish to support our disability programme must have specific training or relevant experience. This ensures the highest level of care, safety, and consistency for our students with additional needs.
🤝 Support and Guidance
You won’t be doing this alone. Our Cambodian staff will guide you through daily routines, child protection policies, cultural expectations, and programme activities. We encourage open communication, curiosity, and teamwork.
