Hope, Opportunity and a Future for Every Child

There are many variations of passages of Lorem Ipsum available but the majority have suffered alteration in some form by injected humour or so randomised words which don’t look even believable.

  • Have enough food for life
  • Poor children can return to school.
  • Most homeless shelters or service organization.
  • Support poor people to have better jobs.

Our Leadership Team

Loung Chhiv
Project Manager
Loung began working at Grace House in 2009 as a volunteer teacher, soon after the school was established. At that time, funds were limited and all teachers served on a voluntary basis. Later that year, he was appointed as a full-time teacher, quickly demonstrating natural leadership qualities. In 2012, Loung was promoted to Head Teacher, where he worked closely with staff and volunteers to strengthen the English program and to deliver the topic-based curriculum. Two years later, in 2014, he took on the role of Special Needs Manager, gaining extensive knowledge in disability support and staff management. After a short break from Grace House in 2016, Loung returned in November 2018 to assume the role of Project Manager. He holds two university degrees — one in Tourism and another in Teaching English Literature — and brings a wealth of expertise across all areas of Grace House’s operations. Loung has been instrumental in building a strong, professional team and continues to play a central role in guiding the organization’s growth and impact.
Sarang Seam
Disability Manager
Sarang, known as Koy, started work at Grace House in 2015. A qualified physiotherapist, she first managed Preahkun House, a home for children with disabilities referred by NGOs or removed from orphanages. Following its closure in 2018, she became Manager of the Special Needs Unit, where she continues to champion inclusion and improve the lives of children with disabilities. Koy oversees the running of the special needs classes, directs staff and volunteers, ensures resources are available, and develops care plans and goals in collaboration with parents and the social worker. Her professionalism ensures children receive quality education, therapies, opportunities to play, and the chance to be part of the local community.
Dani Chan
Social Work Manager
Dani volunteered as a teacher when Grace House first opened in 2008 until being made a full-time paid employee in September 2009. Her knowledge of the local villages and the families was invaluable and in 2011, Dani transitioned into her role as full-time social worker. She works closely with families and children, valued for her practical approach and deep knowledge of community dynamics. Dani is the vital link between the school, commune leaders, and local authorities, managing family records, sponsorships, and monthly rice donations. Child protection is the core of her work, supporting families with problem-solving around school attendance, income, childcare, and healthcare, while signposting them to other agencies for additional assistance.
Huong Thlay
Head Teacher
Huong first joined Grace House as a teacher in the Chicks and Bees class in 2023, balancing her daytime teaching with evening studies at university. In 2025, she graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Arts, Humanities and Languages. Dedicated to her profession, she has participated in numerous workshops to refine her teaching methodology and has received several awards in recognition of her commitment. Her leadership skills quickly became evident, and in July 2025 she was appointed Head Teacher. In this role, Huong supports her colleagues by researching topics, developing worksheets, and sharing creative ideas to enhance children’s learning. She is innovative in her teaching, encouraging students to develop their English speaking and writing skills, and has built a strong, collaborative team around her.
